First english post!

Ok Derbyfans and skaters!
This is the first real sign of RollerDerby on the scandinavian peninsula as far as we know.
We will try to update you on what´s happening and whats not when it comes to derby over here. At the moment we have a little to much snow to skate outside, and organisation, we have none, yet.

At the moment we are two lasses and a lad wanting derby here in scandinavia, more exactly sweden and Stockholm. So in traditional punk rock style, we do it ourselves. The lasses are strating to learn how to play and the lad will try to learn how to be a ref. But there are a few things missing. First of all, more skaters. We are doing our best to spread the word of the fabolus sport, but it might take a while. Secondly we need a track. We will of course go for a flat track at first. Going on a banked one right away just seems stupid, only the cost scares the shit out of us. Then there is all that other stuff we need as well, equipment, more refs, someone with a little medical knowledge and we will probaby find a lot of other stuff we will need. But if we are lucky we migt have our first trainingbouts in the end of the summer. Public ones? We don't dare to guess yet...
